1. What is EatMe?

EatMe is a commission-free online ordering platform for restaurants, which is available on Android and iOS. You can order with us so you can support local restaurants. We help restaurants grow with commission-free orders with the most advanced tools to attract new customers and take orders efficiently.

2. How does EatMe work?

You can place your order through the EatMe app available on ios and Android. Add in your location and you would be able to find all the restaurants listed in your area. Choose your favourite dishes from your favourite restaurants and place your order. Once your order is placed, the restaurant carefully prepares it and packs it up. Then an EatMe rider will pick it up and bring it to your doorstep. 

3. What kinds of restaurants can I order from EatMe?

You have choices ranging from Sri Lankan to the Mediterranean to Mexican from all the local restaurants in your area. Browse and search for a wide range of cuisines and dishes available from our listed restaurants.

4. What are the ordering times?

EatMe delivers 24×7. Timing can vary with different restaurants having different open and close times. Restaurant timings are given in the app for each restaurant. Please note that these times may change without notice due COVID regulations.

5. What are the payment options available on EatMe?

Payments can be made by credit/debit card where we support Visa and Mastercard. Cards can be saved to the app to make future transactions much easier.

6. Do I have to tip the driver?

It is totally up to you to tip the driver, we are coming up with a new feature to the driver in the app itself.

7. What if my order is wrong or incomplete or damaged?

If your order has not been completed, is wrong, or is damaged please use the in-app chat option available in the help section to get connected with our team who will be happy to resolve your issues.

8. What if my order is late?

Sometimes things outside of a driver’s control can cause a delay. If we become aware that your order might not be delivered to you in the estimated time of delivery, our team will work to get your order delivered as quickly as possible.

9. What if I am not around when my driver has arrived?

If you think you would not be at the given delivery address in time to receive your order, please let us know by using the help function available in the app, or please arrange for someone to pick up the order on your behalf.

If there’s an issue getting in contact with you once the driver arrives at your delivery address, our team will try to reach you via your registered contact number. Please ensure you have your phone with you during delivery.

If we can’t contact you the driver will wait up to 10 minutes at your delivery address before leaving. In this event, you will be charged for your order. To prevent this from happening please check your contact and address and check updates of delivery.

10. How does our fees work on EatMe?
Delivery Fee

The closer you are to the restaurant, the lower the delivery fee

Convenience Fee

Bank charges if you use your credit/debit card to checkout and a fixed technology fee per order allows us to cover server and order tracking costs.

Small order fee

We do not charge any small order fee. We are here to support you and the restaurant.

11. What if I have allergies?

If you have any allergies please ensure to specify in the note section under each dish or please contact the restaurant directly when you place the order.

12. When will you be delivering to my area?

We are on a mission to rapidly expand and we will be working with restaurants near you soon.
